Summer Information
As we prepare for a new school year, we are excited to provide families with important resources to help students stay engaged, confident, and ready to learn over the summer months.
This page serves as your one-stop location for all summer materials for students in PK3 through 8th grade. We encourage families to explore each section and take advantage of the opportunities provided to support continued growth both academically and personally.
What You’ll Find:
Summer Reading Projects
Each grade level has a thoughtfully selected reading project designed to keep students connected to learning while fostering a love for reading.
School Supply Lists
Supply lists for all grade levels, including specials classes, are available to help you prepare for a smooth and organized start to the school year.
Math Practice (IXL & Reflex)
Students will continue to have access to their **IXL** and **Reflex Math** accounts throughout the summer. We strongly encourage regular use to strengthen skills, build confidence, and prevent learning loss. If you need account login information please reach out to mhernandez@spsacatholic.org
Welcome Videos
Meet your child’s teachers! Our faculty and specials team have prepared welcome videos to help students feel excited, connected, and ready for the upcoming school year.
DPL Physicals
We encourage all students and parents to take advantage of the summer break to complete required DPL physical forms. These forms are mandatory for all students participating in athletics in grades 5–8 and must be on file prior to participation.

A Message to Our Families
Summer is a time for rest, family, and renewal, but it is also a beautiful opportunity to continue growing in knowledge, confidence, and faith. We encourage our students to take advantage of these resources as a way to nurture their God-given gifts and talents. By doing so, they will return prepared and ready to thrive in a faith-filled, supportive learning environment.
It is truly a joy and a blessing to partner with you in your child’s education and formation. Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our Catholic school community. We are grateful to walk alongside your family as we continue this shared mission.
We can’t wait to welcome our Saints back to campus in August refreshed, renewed, and ready for another year of growth in faith, knowledge, and love.
With gratitude and blessings,
Mrs. Brungardt, Principal
Mrs. Amaya, Assistant Principal
